REGARDING THE UAE PORT DEAL!!!
Well I am off to Los Angeles in a couple of hours!
Gotta do my patriotic stint and tell the UAE that we
don't want their nasty Arab asses running US ports!!
I will not be back until sometime Sunday, so I hope
everyone has a fabulous weekend, although I am
guessing that most of you will be here online as usual!!
Before I go, I thought I might relay a few more tidbits
about our so-called allies - the UAE!!!

A zogby poll on the UAE from 2004 shows this:
-- 73% of UAE citizens had a negative view of the United States;
-- Only 14% had a favorable view.
-- Only 5% of UAE citizens felt that "democracy" was an "extremely important"
reason for the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
-- Preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction was cited by 16%.
-- "Oil" and "domination of the Muslim world" were the main reasons offered
by UAE citizens for our invasion of Iraq.
-- 81% of UAE citizens felt Iraq was worse off after the war.
-- Only 4% said it was better off without Saddam.
-- Asked to identify their "most admired" world leaders,
-- 18% of UAE citizens chose Osama bin Laden.
-- "No one" finished first with 22%.
-- When asked how they viewed themselves,
-- only 19% said they identified first and foremost as citizens of the United
Arab Emirates,
-- while 66% said they saw themselves as "Muslims" first.
Oh yeah, they just love us don't they!!....And I know I sure trust them....NOT!!!!

The actions of our "strongest Arab allies", the UAE:
Textbook of an American school in the capitol is sezed over the "smell of racism"
towards Arabs:
Close on the heels of the cartoon controversy raging across the Muslim world, it is the turn of an upscale American school in Abu Dhabi to ruffle Muslim sentiments by teaching lessons that allegedly ''smell of racism''.
Over 100 copies of the social studies text book, 'World Cultures' taught to the sixth grade children were confiscated by the Ministry of Education yesterday, for allegedly presenting Islam and the Muslim countries including Gulf states in a negative light while "glorifying" Israel on the other hand.
It has been accused that chapter 25 of the book running from page 599 to 614 contains a deluge of derogatory remarks against Islam and the Muslim world, for example, dubbing Middle East as one of the most dangerously explosive areas in the world and the Muslim conquest of India as the most bloodiest in the world history, to mention a few.
The sub chapters clubbed under the title 'North Africa and the Middle East' also elaborate on the religion and life-style of Israel with pictures.
"Israel is one of a few democracies in North Africa and the Middle East today. Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Morocco are all kingdoms; the country of Syria has sponsored terrorism by giving aid to radicals in the Palestine Liberation Organisation, known as the PLO.
We silly Americans, we keep forgetting that the TRUTH is an absolute no-no
in the muzzie world!

I guess I'll see you guys when I get back!!...but then again...you never know!
