SAUDIS TRYING TO BUY THE US EDUCATION SYSTEM!!!
A Saudi prince is offering Harvard & Georgetown Universities $20 million EACH to "expand their Islamic studies program".
This happens to be the very same Saudi prince who offered millions to New York City right after 9-11, at which time the former NY Mayor Rudy Guiliani (God bless his heart) told the prince, to his face, to take that check and shove it up his ass!!
Of course he was slightly more tactful about it!!
Saudi Arabia is the Nation that provided us with 15 out of the 19 hijackers on 9-11, and they are also the ones who provided us with the extremely strict form of Islam (wahhabism) that is being followed by Bin Laden, and others like him who wish to destroy EVERYTHING that does not conform to their way of thinking!!!!
They gave us the terrorist's mindset!!!!
Now Harvard itself has a $26 BILLION (yes with a B) endowment so why would they even consider taking money from a nation such as Saudi Arabia?
And what does it say about the American education system if these 2 "ivy league" universities take money from Saudi Arabia, or any other nation, who deny women the basic rights of education in their own land?
Infact, women are not even allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia. They can not even seek medical treatment without a man's (husband, father, brother, etc.) permission. Which means, if a man chooses, he can allow said woman to die if he doesn't want her to get medical treament!!!
These are just a very few of the atrosities that go on in Saudi Arabia!!!
These are the "Islamic" values they want OUR halls of education to teach???
It will be interesting to see whether or not Harvard & Georgetown sell out their high and mighty value system for a buck!!!!
If they do accept this money you can be guaranteed that more slots will be taken away from American students and given to the prince's sons, nephews, whatever.
In the end, will we Americans have to go abroad to get an education because there is simply no room left for us at our own universities????
