PROTECTING THE FLAG!!!!

Senator Bob Bennett (R) From Utah,...

has proposed new legislation that would make it illegal for a protester to desecrate the American flag as an intimidation tactic, or to light somebody else's flag on fire, or to destroy the flag on federal property.

I am always disgusted when I see our beautiful flag being burned or desecrated in any other way, ESPECIALLY when it happens here in our own country, and I for one do not believe this vile expression falls under "freedom of speech".

I hope and pray that this legislation passes and passes soon.........let me know what you guys think!!!!!
