WEAPONS, WEAPONS, WEAPONS!!!!!!!

The NRA (National Rifle Association) is the organization thats lobbys congress to make sure that Americans continue to have the "right to bear arms" just as our American constitution says we do. I am not a member of the NRA but I do support the right to bear arms as I have several hand guns and 1 rifle myself.

However, I do believe in limits on the type of weapons which a mere civilian should own. To me THIS is not a constitutional issue it is a national security issue...
For example....right now, it is completely legal in most states to purchase a 50 caliber military rifle which can pierce a 1 inch piece of steel from 1000 yards away, and when I say pierce, I mean it can completely go through that piece of steel, the bullets (rounds) for these guns are as long as a grown mans hand and as big around as a quarter, so just imagine what it can do to the human body.

The absolutely horrifying part about this is you can buy these guns from individuals who do absolutely no back ground checks on those they are selling to. Now one might think these would be to expensive for most of us to purchase, and indeed the US military resently purchased 2 of them for $10,000 a piece, however....sold to an individual they can cost as little as $2,500, which is in many peoples price range.

Now let us use our heads here and think.....a home owner does not need this type of weapon to stop a home invader, a business owner does not need this type of weapon to stop robbers, and a hunter sure doesn't need this type of weapon to take down a deer. So what is the market for these types of weapons??????????????????..answer......criminal activity and terrorism!!!!!!!!!
