Importance of Border security
We all realize that terrorism is a major theme when it comes to protecting our borders. I would like to add however that securing the border is an effective tool in combatting many of our nations problems. Problems which can eventually destroy our nation, and in some respects, problems that are already dragging our nation down.
1....DRUGS,.... we all know that much of the illegal drugs on the streets of America come from Central and south America, and securing the border would greatly reduce the amount of drugs that are being made available to our kids today.
** It is estimated that most crimes have drug involvement in one way or the other, so less drugs=less crimes.
2....ECONOMY,....The truth is, that Mexicans alone send approx. $30 Billion dollars a year to family in Mexico. That is $30 Billion in US money that is taken out of our own economy, and say what you want but that can not be good for us.
** Everyone knows that the best way to build a strong business is to keep the money in the family, our in this case, the best way to keep the American economy strong is to keep the money in the "family". This problem however is not isolated to mexicans, but Mexico is a good place to start.
**There is also the money spent on services given to illegals here inside the US. For example, in the state of California alone, some $3-4 Billion dollars a year are spent on services, such as healthcare, for illegals in our country, and California is only one state in our nation, so you do the math and tell me that we "true" citizens are not effected by outsiders!!!
3....CRIME & PUNISHMENT,.... Govt. records show that 20% of all federal prison inmates who have committed crimes after sneaking into the US. Govt. records also indicate that 1/3 (approx. 33% of ALL prisoners in the US (jails, state prisons, etc..) are illegal aliens.
**Now we here let criminals out of prison early many times simply because there is major over crowding in our correctional system. So I submit, that we would have approx. 33% more room to keep criminals behind bars were we not having to incarcerate so many illegals. If we dont let them into the US then they can not commit crimes here and therefore will not be congesting our prisons.
** Example....90% of ALL outstanding arrest warrents in the city of L.A. California are for illegals who have commited crimes after sneaking into the US, Thats 90%!!!!!!!!
4....TERRORISM,.... This issue is one that absolutely can not be ignored by anyone, and evidence is mounting on a daily basis that Mexico is not only ignoring the migrant culture of their citizens, but are actually aiding their citizens in their quest to cross the US border illegally. The Mexican govt, headed by Pres. Vincente Fox, is issuing pamplets telling their citizens how to cross the border undetected and how to blend into the woodwork once they get here. Infact new evidence has emerged that suggests the Mexican military may be helping illegals cross the border into our land. The Mexican govt. and many of its people believe there should be no border at all between our country and theirs and that Mexicans should be allowed to come and go as they please. This is the ideology of the Mexican president himself.
Because Mexico is on our border and not enforcing the law, that leaves us open to all other central and south American countries illegals also. Millions of illegals from down south cross our borders every year. And our tax money pays for their healthcare, schooling, etc.., which are things that even I, a born and bred American, can get no help with myself. In other words, we "Americans" have to work our asses off so that our tax dollars can be taken away from us and our children and given freely to people who shouldn't even be here in the first place.
I say enough is enough!!!!.....and that is why I support the minuteman project, and I encourage all who read this to support them also, we can MAKE the govt. listen if we stand together. We the people of America are a very powerful force and although we rarely use our power in mass, I say there comes a time when we MUST stand up and be heard. So please join me and lets take our Country back, shall we!!!!....And may God bless America!!!!
